Volume/ Form: A shape in three dimensions/external appearance of a clearly defined area, as

distinguished from color or material;configuration.

Design Principles: Fundamental ideas about the practice of good visual design.

Balance: A state of equilibrium or equipoise; equal distribution of weight, amount.

Harmony: Agreement; accord; harmonious relations.

Contrast: To compare in order to show unlikeness or differences; note the opposite natures,

purposes.

Movement: The act, process, or result of moving.

Rhythm: A patterned repetition of a motif, formal element, etc., at regular or irregular intervalsin the

same or a modified form.
